Blue State Digital
Rapid reponse: Lessons from the Campaign Trail
Matthew will be talking about building relationships with supporters and potential supporters using digital tools. How to nurture that relationship what you need to ask people to do? "That set of principles applies whether you are in Nevada or Norway - it's just that the tactics are different." Says McGregor.
Before joining Blue State Digital, Matthew directed digital rapid response for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign. In that capacity he also coordinated special projects, including the campaign’s presentation of Mitt Romney’s corporate record and his record as governor, and the digital response to Romney’s vice presidential pick. Prior to the Obama campaign, he worked for Blue State Digital as a senior strategist in Washington D.C. and London. Matthew is originally from the UK, where he worked for the Labour Party and labor unions before moving to the U.S.
